Our toddlers program is designed to encourage a toddler's innate curiosity. At this age your child will take major strides in social, emotional and physical development as they transition from toddlers to preschool experience. Toddlers are given the opportunity to work individually and in groups to promote socialization.
Our Indoor Playgroup area is equipped with age appropriate toys and books, dress-up and role play area, reading corner, art & craft center with easels, paints, glue, clay etc., soft gym and ball pool area, music and movements center. Our outdoor area is equipped with sand area, cars and cycling track, slides and swings, climbing frame and water play area.
Pre-Nursery Program: 18 months to 24 months
Nursery Program: 2 to 3 year olds
School Hours: 8.40 am to 12.30/ 1.30 or 2.30 pm
Options: thrice a week or five times a week program
Pre-Nursery and Nursery children will be exposed to various learning centers where they will be challenged physically, emotionally, socially and cognitively. They will be able to test their own skills and lengthen their attention span by engaging in both child-initiated activities as well as teacher-directed activities.
Nursery children will enjoy role-play, dramatic play, and creative arts with other children. They will cut and paste to enhance their fine motor development and will enjoy tricycling, running, jumping, climbing, sand playing, block building, singing and dancing for their large motor skills. For Math, they will learn counting, grouping objects, shapes and colors through hands-on activities. For language, they will enjoy circle time, storytelling and reading with adults and begin to communicate their wants and needs.
Kindergarten 1: 3 to 4 year olds
School Hours: 8.40 am to 12.30 / 1.30 / 2.30 pm
Options: Thrice a week or five times a week program
At this age children will be introduced to Math, Language, Reading, Social and Physical skills in a creative manner. They will build on their self-esteem and independence skills. They will be involved in theme related activities like art and crafts, story time, role play, dramatic play and science projects. For fine motor skills they will enjoy cutting, pasting, gluing, clay modeling, lacing and beading. For large motor skills they will participate in running, climbing, jumping, obstacle course, water play, sand digging etc. They will improve on their hand/eye coordination through activities such as throwing a ball through a hoop, catching and kicking a ball, block building and puzzles. In the area of Math, they will use manipulative to build on number recognition and counting, sorting and patterning, basic measurements, estimating, comparisons etc. In Language they will participate in real life experiences that include reading and writing, developing oral communication, reading with adults, using symbols in art and drawing, circle time etc.
Kindergarten 2:4 - 5 year olds
Kindergarten 3: 5 to 6 year olds
School Hours: 8.40 am to 2.30 pm
Five days a week program
At this age, children are more ready for a longer and structured day. They are given more opportunities to build on their language, numeracy, science and social skills in order to get them ready for school.
In Reading and Language, they touch on phonics, comprehensive reading concepts, letter recognition, reading and attempting to spell, pre-writing and writing skills, listening and dictation, recalling events and storytelling, speaking in front of peers. In Numeracy, they work on counting, printing and recognizing numerals, adding and subtraction, Math worksheets, sequencing, graphing, calendar concepts, weights and measure etc. In Science and Creative Arts, they touch on several topics such as plants, space, life cycles etc. They create longterm projects, express their ideas and act out their thoughts. At this age, children gain confidence in a school setting, they enhance social skills with peers and adults, they re-enforce self-help skills and fine-tune their motor skills.
They also participate in special activities such as swimming, sports, yoga, music & movements, computer and Thai lessons.
Our teachers meet and plan their schedules daily to ensure a well-balanced and structured schedule. Classroom sizes are kept small to allow teachers to provide full attention to every child. All classes have qualified teachers' aids and nursery classes have additional help.
